Prop Firm Match Delisted by 21 Firms

Prop Firm Match delisted by 21 firms. Goat Funded Futures and its parent brand ended their affiliate ties. Here is what happened and what is confirmed.

Prop Firm Match Delisted by 21 Firms

Goat Funded Futures (GFF) has ended its affiliate partnership with PropFirmMatch (PFM), joining a wave of exits on October 30, 2026. The move leaves PropFirmMatch delisted from the affiliate lists of at least 21 prop trading brands.

The announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter). Our parent brand, Goat Funded Trader (GFT), had issued the same statement shortly before.

The exits followed an allegation posted on October 29 by a trader known as Kane, who claimed the comparison site triggered affiliate redirects when visitors clicked firm profiles or copy code buttons. PFM has now acknowledged an error in how its links behaved. This report separates what has been shown from what is still open.

PFM is a comparison site listing prop firm challenges, discount codes and trader reviews. Its website discloses it earns commissions when users buy challenges through its affiliate links or codes, which is why the way those links fire sits at the center of the dispute.

What Is Cookie Stuffing, and What Was Alleged?

Cookie stuffing is an affiliate marketing practice in which a website places its referral tracking cookie in someone's browser without them deliberately clicking an affiliate link. The cookie records the website as the source of a potential purchase.

  • If the visitor later buys from the company, the website may receive the commission, even though the visitor did not knowingly use its referral link.

In his post and video, Kane alleged that PropFirmMatch (PFM) used this type of tracking. He said clicking on a firm's profile or the copy code button caused the original browser tab to visit the firm's website through a PFM affiliate link.

Meanwhile, the page the visitor intended to open appeared in a separate tab. This meant PFM's affiliate cookie could be recorded even though the visitor had not deliberately chosen to use its referral link.

Kane demonstrated the behaviour using My Funded Futures and said he had seen it across several firm listings, although he had not checked every listing. He also highlighted an apparent contradiction: PFM's own affiliate terms prohibit forced cookies for its affiliates.

Truvos, another prop firm, published a plain-language explanation of the concern. It described the alleged practice as affiliate tracking being triggered without a deliberate referral click.

The Code Behind the Claims

The PropFirmMatch delisted headlines rest on a technical claim, so the code deserves a closer look. An independent analysis of archived copies of PFM's JavaScript found a copy code button redirecting the original tab to firm affiliate links between November 2025 and October 2026. The same analysis draws a distinction worth noting. Classic cookie stuffing drops a cookie with no click at all, usually on page load, while the archived behavior is closer to a forced click.

A post from PropRadar on X appears to show how the script worked, with the redirect firing about once a day per visitor.

The archive shows what the code did, not what it earned. To measure the financial effect, the analysis suggests firms pull orders where a trader used another partner's coupon code but the sale was credited to PFM's cookie.

The analysis also sets out the strongest defense available to PFM. A trader copying a firm's code is already shopping for the firm, and the firm may have paid the same commission either way. Any breach of affiliate rules depends on each firm's own agreement, which is why several firms announced reviews of their own.

Is PropFirmMatch Legit? What Is Confirmed and What Is Not

On October 30, PFM replied on X, saying it was looking into the questions raised and would share a full statement within 24 hours. This was followed by a full statement that contains an admission.

PFM acknowledged an error. Until the day before its statement, it said clicking a firm or code on its site opened the firm's website in a new tab through PFM's affiliate link, and the company said this should not have happened.

It took full responsibility, said it had contacted each partner to review the situation and reconcile any inaccuracies, and said it respects the decisions firms have made.

The PropFirmMatch delisted storyline also reached Trustpilot. PFM's Trustpilot page currently displays a notice saying its rating is unavailable due to a breach of the platform's guidelines.

The notice does not give a reason. It has raised a question many traders are now asking: is PropFirmMatch legit.

The Firms Behind the PFM Exits

The list behind the PropFirmMatch delisted headlines is long, and futures firms make up a large share of it. Each firm below announced its exit on X.

  • Apex Trader Funding terminated its PFM affiliate relationship with immediate effect and disabled its tracking codes after reviewing referral tracking practices and its affiliate agreement.

  • Tradeify said its own review found PFM had violated its affiliate terms, and PFM will no longer sponsor the Premier Trading League.

Other brands joined them: FundingPips, confirmed through its chief executive officer's personal account, Vest, Alpha Capital Group, BrightFunded, FXIFY, BlueGuardian, Finotive Funding, FundedSquad, and many others.

Why Affiliate Attribution Is Under Scrutiny

Affiliate marketing runs on one rule. The party sending the buyer earns the commission, and every serious dispute in the field comes back to who really did the sending. Firms pay commissions through the PropFirmMatch affiliate program and similar schemes only on the understanding of a real, deliberate referral.

The industry has seen this question before. In December 2024, a creator investigation alleged PayPal's Honey extension replaced creators' affiliate cookies with its own at checkout. Earlier, an eBay affiliate fraud case valued at $28 million led to federal prosecutions for cookie stuffing, the history Kane referenced when he said some affiliates have gone to prison.

Affiliate networks use stand-down rules to keep the system honest. A browser extension or site is expected to refrain from overwriting a tracking cookie when another publisher already owns the session, according to PPC Land's reporting on the Honey case. Apex and Tradeify both said their own reviews of referral tracking came before their exits.

The Goat Funded Futures PropFirmMatch decision sits inside this tradition. A comparison site holds a position of trust, and a firm paying for referrals expects each credited sale to start with the trader's own choice.

What Traders Should Know Now

Ending an affiliate listing changes how traders are referred to a firm. It does not change a firm's own plans or rules. Traders should go to our official site for current plans, pricing, and terms.

Nevertheless, comparison sites remain useful for side-by-side rules and pricing, and the exits do not change the value of comparing firms. The standard to hold any of them to is transparency. As of now, TradingPilot leads as the go-to transparency and integrity prop trading firms comparison platform.

For traders weighing the Goat Funded Futures PropFirmMatch split, a few habits help with any comparison site:

  • Read the affiliate disclosure to see how the site earns money.

  • Watch what happens when you copy a code or open a profile. The current tab should stay where it is.

  • Cross-check ratings on 2 or more independent platforms.

  • Confirm plans, pricing, and rules on the firm's own website before buying.

How the PropFirmMatch delisted story ends depends on how PFM reconciles with its partners and on any independent review of its code. Futures traders will be watching both.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does GFF ending its PFM affiliate partnership change my funded account?

The affiliate relationship only concerns how traders are referred to our trading platform. Plans, rules, and rewards are set by us, so existing accounts operate as before. Current terms are always available on goatfundedfutures.com.

How does a PropFirmMatch affiliate program link earn a commission?

A referral link places a cookie in the browser to record the visit. If the trader buys a challenge later, the firm credits the site holding the cookie under the last-click rule. The trader pays the usual price, as the firm funds the commission.

Is PropFirmMatch legit to keep using during the review?

PFM has acknowledged its links behaved incorrectly and taken responsibility, and says it is reviewing the situation with partners. Intent and financial impact remain unaddressed. Traders can keep using comparison sites with care by checking disclosures, opening firm websites directly, and comparing ratings across independent platforms.
